OBJECTIVE
The objective of the project was to select
a topic from biology and design a book. This
course expounded and expanded the basic
principles of typography. We were encouraged
to challenge our approach to these basic
principles and explore innovative ways to com-
municate with type and image.
APPROACH
I choose a topic animal and human courtship
behavior. To express the most natural behavior, I
chose multiple tribal photographs and typo-
graphy. I also designed some elements based
on their abriginal pattern and specific words
to make the book look more interesting.
